The Process of Death Leading to Heaven or Hell According to the Al-Quran
Death is a reality that every living being must face, and the Quran provides guidance on what happens after we die. The Quran teaches that the soul continues to exist after the physical body dies, and the actions we take in life determine our eternal fate. The Moment of Death

In Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 35, the Quran says, "Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. To Us must ye return."

It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!' They will find all that they did, placed before them: And not one will thy Lord treat with injustice."
The Judgment

In Surah Al-Zumar, Verse 71, the Quran says, "And the earth will shine with the glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the least)."
Heaven and Hell
The Quran teaches that Allah will send some souls to heaven and others to hell, based on their deeds in life. Heaven is described as a place of eternal bliss and happiness, where the faithful will be rewarded for their good deeds.
In Surah Al-Imran, Verse 15, the Quran says, "Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah."
On the other hand, hell is described as a place of eternal punishment and suffering, where the wicked will be punished for their sins.
In Surah Al-Muddaththir, Verse 26-29, the Quran says, "And remind them that the Hell-fire is waiting for those who do not believe in the Hereafter and are pleased and satisfied with this worldly life. But those who fear their Lord will have high ranks in Paradise, some above the others, with rivers flowing beneath them. This is the reward of Allah which He gives to whomever He wills. And the deeds of the disbelievers are like ashes that the wind blows furiously on a stormy day; they shall not have power over anything they have earned; that is the farthest deviation."
