Surah Qaf is the 50th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 45 verses.

It is named after the Arabic letter "Qaf" which appears at the beginning of the first verse. The letter Qaf is also considered to be one of the "Muqatta'at", which are the disjointed letters that appear at the beginning of certain chapters of the Quran. The Surah was revealed in Makkah and is classified as a Meccan Surah.
